Tales of Extraordinary Women wins the Sunny Side of the Doc Prize at NewImages XR Development Market 2025

The Sunny Side of the Doc team was present to attend the 8th edition of NewImages XR Development Market. On this occasion, our representatives handed out a SSD Special Prize to one of the 53 projects in competition. The project Tales of Extraordinary Women, produced by Synaesthetica UG (Germany) and directed by Bashira Cabbara and Benedict Mirow, wins two free Market Passes for Sunny Side of the Doc 2025 and is selected for the Sunny Innovation Lab, which will take place from June 23 to 26, 2025, in La Rochelle, France.

A VR experience based on 3 stories from the bestseller book Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls. Tales of Extraordinary Women. Playful, interactive VR for kids, youths and adults, in combination with 180°-documentaries on the impact of the heroines.
