Ex Oriente 2024
The Ex Oriente Film documentary laboratory is divided into two training programmes: Ex Oriente Features and Ex Oriente Series.
The laboratory includes 12 feature-length documentary projects (Ex Oriente Features) and 5 docuseries projects (Ex Oriente Series) represented by director-producer or creator-producer teams who will attend 3 residential sessions and additional online sessions.
Both training programmes conclude at the East Doc Forum pitching, where project holders will present their creation to more than 80 international decision-makers. Creators will also get a chance to win various prizes and scholarships, financial support, co-production agreements, access to leading European markets, and partner training.
This year, Sunny Side of the Doc will welcome the first session of Ex Oriente Series from June 23-25 in La Rochelle, France.
Applications are open until February 14, 2024, and are entirely free of charge.
