Exclusive training course for Saudi documentary filmmakers by Sunny Side of the Doc

This year, Sunny Side of the Doc is organizing and leading a tailor-made training program for ten Saudi project holders from MBC Academy, in collaboration with DocHouse. Designed specifically for them and led by Sunny Side of the Doc, this program is part of the Sunny Academy. Its goal is to support these emerging talents in developing their documentary projects and facilitate their integration into the international market.

 

A tailor-made program

In partnership with DocHouse, Sunny Academy offers strategic support for 10 Saudi documentary filmmakers from MBC Academy. This initiative is designed to enhance their access to the international documentary market and maximize professional opportunities.

Saudi filmmakers will benefit from a structured program:

  • Coach expert with Pauline Mazenod: intensive mentorship before the event and ongoing support throughout the market (June 23-26, 2025)
  • Immersion & networking: dedicated stand, participation in industry roundtables on storytelling, co-production, and distribution.
  • Participation in The Before webinar, providing key insights and guidance to help them succeed in their market next June.
